This home was built in 1903 by Sarah Ann Drought, the widow of William Drought.
William had bought the land in 1901 for $100, and after his passing he left the property to his wife and daughter. They fufilled his dream and arranged for the construction of their three-story Edwardian home.
His daughter, Catherine Ida, married Dr. Kennedy, who used the large front room for his dental practice.
This room has been used by subsequent owners as a place of business, like a day care and a picture framing business.
