After the 1923 fire, J.H. McKay built this store for Jenny Chapman to re-open her shoe store, which had been lost. Chapman ran the store until Charles and Ruth Garrod took over in 1958.

Upon their retirement in 1975, Bertha Wolf, an optometrist, operated her practise here before relocating to Parkhill in the mid 80s.

This building then housed Greg's Pine Cabinets, and then Cotton By Post before Henk Oosterwal opened a bike shop in 1980. 

Henk's Bicycle operated until the fall of 2020, and the store front now sits empty.
