Giving Tree lawn parties are located on the Townsend Common on summer nights in July or August. These lawn parties are very important for our year because it gives us an idea of what our financial status will be going into the season. During these fun-filled parties, the Townsend Military Band plays while we sell food and drinks, host games, and advocate for our program. This is a great way for us to get our name out to the community before the season starts and hopefully make a lot of money, too!
