Policies

By scheduling an appointment with Northland Mobile Auto Repair, the customer agrees to the following terms and conditions:

1. Scheduling Fee Requirement

A non-refundable $35 scheduling fee is required to reserve any diagnostic, repair, service, inspection, or onsite appointment.

This scheduling fee secures the customer’s appointment time, covers administrative costs, travel preparation, technician allocation, and loss of availability for other customers.

2. Credit Toward Final Invoice

The $35 scheduling fee is not an additional charge and will be applied as a credit toward the final balance of any completed diagnostic or repair.

Example:

• Service Total: $235

• Scheduling Fee Paid: $35

• Remaining Balance Due: $200

3. Cancellation Policy

Appointments canceled with at least 12 hours’ notice may, at the sole discretion of Northland Mobile Auto Repair, have the scheduling fee applied toward a rescheduled appointment.

Appointments canceled with less than 12 hours’ notice, unconfirmed appointments, missed appointments, customer no-shows, inaccessible job sites, or appointments where the customer is unavailable upon technician arrival will result in forfeiture of the scheduling fee.

4. No-Show & Refusal of Service

If the customer:

• fails to appear,

• refuses scheduled work after technician dispatch,

• provides inaccurate service information,

• denies access to the property,

• refuses to confirm appointment,

• or causes unreasonable delays,

the scheduling fee will be retained as liquidated damages to compensate for reserved labor time, scheduling disruption, fuel, administrative costs, and lost business opportunities.

5. Diagnostic Findings

Payment of the scheduling fee does not guarantee a specific repair outcome, warranty coverage, parts availability, or repairability of equipment or property.

Diagnostic conclusions are based on conditions observable at the time of inspection.

Additional issues discovered during diagnosis or repair may result in revised estimates.

6. Estimates & Additional Charges

Any estimate provided before inspection is preliminary and subject to change after full diagnostic evaluation.

The customer authorizes diagnostic procedures necessary to identify the issue unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Additional repairs, labor, parts, or services outside the original scope require customer approval before completion.

7. Payment Terms

Final payment for completed services is due immediately upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Failure to pay may result in:

• late fees,

• collections activity,

• suspension of warranties,

• mechanics lien,

• legal action.

The customer agrees to pay any reasonable collection costs, attorney fees, or court costs incurred in recovering unpaid balances.

8. Limitation of Liability

Northland Mobile Auto Repair shall not be liable for:

• pre-existing conditions,

• concealed defects,

• manufacturer defects,

• incidental or consequential damages,

• delays caused by weather, parts shortages, supplier issues, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Maximum liability shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the customer for the specific service provided.

9. Customer Acceptance

By submitting payment of the scheduling fee, booking an appointment, electronically signing, or allowing service to proceed, the customer acknowledges and agrees to all terms contained in this agreement.
