The goal of the New Mexico Chapter of the American Meteorological Society (AMS) is to foster a greater understanding of atmospheric, oceanic, and hydrologic sciences within our local communities. Our group aims to promote scientific education, professional development, and collaboration among students, educators, professionals, and weather enthusiasts. Through meetings, outreach, and public events, we support the mission of the national AMS while addressing the unique needs and interests of our regional area.
