Farzane TALAEE SHOAR is a fully funded PhD student at Marche Polytechnic University (Ancona, Italy) made in collaboration with the Nanostructured Magnetic Material Laboratory.    Her main research activities are: 1) Ssynthesis of advanced nanoscale magnetic nanomaterials (e.g. heterostructure spinel ferrites), core/shell Au/spinel-ferrites particles, bimetallic nanoparticles such as NiSn, and metal nanoparticles such as Ni, Au by chemical methods including thermal decomposition and sol-gel for fundamental studies and applications; 2) ligand exchange process to change hydrophobic particles into hydrophilic ones for their use in biomediacl fields; characterization of the nanoparticles by advanced nano characteristic tools including XRD, TGA, DLS, FT-IR, SEM, TEM, and VSM to study their physicochemical properties, specifically magnetic properties to modulate them for specific use in different fields such as medicine, electronics, and the environment. She has been an attendee in school of European school of magnetism, Sep. 2023, Winner of European Union Scholarship in 2022, Winner of Stipendium Scholarship in 2021, Ranked in top 5% among contestants in the Master of Nanotechnology    Entrance Exam, 2013.
