I’ve had an unconventional career that includes celebrity event planning, restaurant management, and over a decade in tech at Etsy, Inc. I have also been a long-term substitute Art Teacher and full time Assistant Teacher in a partially residential, special education school. Over time, I’ve worked towards a Master’s of Teaching degree at Russell Sage, which I will finish in December 2026.

I grew up in Catskill, NY and moved to New York City to attend college at The Fashion Institute of Technology. I spent a lot of time living and working in the Albany area and now live in Coxsackie with my husband Terry, our son Felix, our daughter Fiona, and our dog Lucy.  On the weekends, I love watching my kids’ sports teams, traveling with family & friends, seeing live music including my husband’s band, and exploring nature in the Hudson River Valley and Catskill Mountains.
