Interceptors are deployed onto the streets of London, with the highest quality Police cars, equipped with Tasers, and fewer firearms. Their vehicles are equipped with an ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) system to catch license plates belonging to wanted criminals and catch the speeds of passing vehicles.
