We invite submissions in two categories: full papers for publication and informal/non-archival submissions for discussion and feedback. For submission and the review process, we will use OpenReview. The reviewing process will be double-blind.
Full Paper Submissions
We welcome original, unpublished research on workshop topics, including both regular research papers and position papers. Previously published work is not eligible for this track. Accepted papers are expected to be presented at the workshop (either in-person or virtually) and will be published in the workshop proceedings.
All submissions must use the official COLM LaTeX style template and follow the standard COLM submission requirements. References and appendices do not count against the page limit (9 pages). Limitations and ethical consideration sections are optional and do not count against these limits either.
Papers that do not conform to these requirements will be desk-rejected without review.
Informal/Non-archival Submissions
These submissions will not be published in proceedings and offer flexibility for two types of contributions:
Work in Progress submissions are for research that isn't yet ready for full submission. These can be up to 2 pages with unlimited references and may include extended abstracts or presentation slides.
Previously Published Work allows you to submit papers that have been published elsewhere or are currently under review. Simply submit a copy of your publication or submission and indicate the original venue.
