Sanjay Chatterji
is an assistant professor at Indian Institute of Information Technology Kalyani. Prior to that, he was a research scientist at the Samsung Research Lab, India. He is currently actively working on developing language technologies for agriculture and livestock management. He has also worked on Indian Language Machine Translation and cross-lingual information retrieval. Sanjay has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
[Manjira Sinha]
Manjira Sinha
is an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. Prior to that, she was a research scientist in the Text and Graph Analytics research group at Conduent Labs India (formerly known as Xerox Research Centre India). She is currently working in various domains of NLP/AI such as Healthcare, Livestock management, Agriculture, Assistive technology, and NLP for Economics. She has also worked on cross-domain Text categorization, Social Media analysis for Urban Informatics, Knowledge Extraction, and Quality Analysis for Call center Interactions. Manjira has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. She is also visiting faculty at Indian Institute of Information Technology Kalyani. Her areas of interest include Language Comprehension and Psycholinguistics, Natural Language Processing, Assistive Technology and Human Computer Interaction.
[Adway Mitra]
Adway Mitra
is an assistant professor at Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. Prior to that, he was an Assistant Professor at the School of Electrical Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswara. He is interested in Machine Learning and Data Mining, especially in the application of these techniques to solve problems affecting the world. More specifically, he is interested in data-driven modeling and simulation of complex spatio-temporal processes. Adway has a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Automation from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
[Tirthankar Dasgupta]
Tirthankar Dasgupta
is a scientist at TCS Research, India in the Text Analytics and Web Intelligence group. He holds a Ph.D. in computer science from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. His research interests span natural language processing, computational psycholinguistics, machine learning, and human-computer interaction. He has organized a number of workshops in the area of assistive technology and natural language processing.
