I grew up wanting to be a professional athlete. I studied film, watched games religiously, and trained with the dream of being on the field. But over time, I realized what drew me in just as much as the game itself was the way it was told. The voices, the highlights, the emotion. A conversation with my grandmother right before college sealed it: she said I was destined to speak about sports. That moment stuck.
I’m a proud graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Film and Media Production. While there, I was an audio producer, city beat producer, and cross-departmental producer for Pitt to the Point, for the university’s third season of its hour-long news broadcast. I was also a sports analyst and commentator for WPTS Radio. Outside of the newsroom, I’ve worked on a range of film sets and creative projects, all of which you’ll find throughout my portfolio.
I’m from Northern New Jersey, a place where cultures collide and sports bring communities together. As a Latino growing up in the tri-state area, I’ve always seen the power of sports connecting people from all backgrounds, and that’s what I hope to bring to my career. Whether it’s on the mic, behind the camera, or in the editing room, my goal is to make sports feel inclusive and exciting for everyone, even those who don’t think it’s “for them.”
I’m passionate about storytelling, driven by curiosity, and always open to trying something new. I’m currently exploring refereeing and coaching to deepen my understanding of the games I love. When I’m not working, I’m probably playing soccer, basketball, or volleyball, diving into music production, or breaking down a film or TV show with friends. At the end of the day, I want my work and my voice to feel like an invitation. Sports are for everyone, and I want to be part of the reason someone believes that.
