Nké is an African audio-history platform that aims to curate and convert 200 (1800-2000) years' worth of all written works of African history in sectors such as leadership, trade, art, and agriculture, among others in each country in the continent, beginning with Nigeria, Congo, Ghana, Niger, and Cameroon, into an audio format for freemium streaming and downloading by listeners.

Nké stands out as the primary platform for delivering accessible, accurate, and authentic African audio-history narrations with accompanying written copies for freemium listeners.

My name is Eno Akpan. I am from Akwa Ibom State of the Southern Region of Nigeria and speak the native languages, Ibibio & Efik. I am a multifaceted creative force, driven by an insatiable curiosity and passion for all things artistic. With my entrepreneurial spirit, I have seamlessly blended my artistic abilities with exceptional business acumen.

My journey is deeply rooted in my love for African history, a passion ignited by a desire for authentic representation and accessibility. Recognizing the gaps in how African history is portrayed and preserved, I embarked on this mission to create Nké, an audio-history library dedicated to the study and dispensation of African stories.

Driven by yearning and a profound understanding of the power of aural learning, My vision for Nké is to create a platform not laced with shame or reproach but with enlightenment and honor. I hope that in dripping a drop of water in this bucket of ocean, many will join me as well in this journey to build African history her own historical platform.
