Tom Smith devoted his life to science and environmental education, engaging in citizen science projects in retirement.  In addition to extensive volunteer work, Tom was an active member of the NJ Science Convention Steering Committee, working with exhibitors throughout the year in preparation for the convention.  His welcoming smile was a familiar sight for returning exhibitors.  He will be missed.

Alma Edly led a full life dedicated to her family, education and serving her community.  She  was active in New Jersey Science Olympiad, and after retiring continued her work in science education by supervising student teachers.  Alma worked in many positions on the NJ Science Convention Steering Committee, most recently greeting attendees at the Registration desk.  All will miss Alma.
