Check Student's Degree Progress Report for Transfer Credit Report ( Evaluation).
Do not register student without Transfer Evaluation!
If course on transfer evaluation states "Transfer Elective Course" please refer to department chair to get course further evaluated to avoid having the student take unnecessary courses. This is especially important for students with transcripts from foreign institutions.
Check Application Status/Term Activation on PeopleSoft

Inquire if student has sent final transcript, or if there is still outstanding courses they have not sent to NJCU
If student has an Associates Degree, they should receive Blanket Credit for General Education Requirements.
Note: Associates of Applied Science does not receive Blanket Credit
Assist student with self enrollment of desired courses
Ensure student has access to Gothic Net, Blackboard and NJCU email and that it is functioning correctly
Provide student with The Office of Tutoring and Academic Support Services information for:
Academic Coaching and Math & Science Tutoring

Writing Workshops
The Writing Center offers occasional workshops on a variety of writing topics, such as getting started on your paper, using sources, and brushing up on grammar. Students can register for workshops at https://njcu.mywconline.com/.

Transcript Request Form for students looking to transfer out
Students are encouraged to only do Reverse Transfer/Dual Enrollment to complete an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science or Associate of Fine Arts in order to receive blanket credit at NJCU.
Associates of Applied Science/Arts does not receive Blanket Credit
