Welcome to the Neuromechanical Rehabilitation Research Laboratory (nRRL) at the Incheon National University. INU neuromechanists focus on the neural and biobehavioral mechanisms and motor rehabilitation underlying children, athletes, older adults, and individuals with neurological diseases such as stroke and Parkinson's disease. Our studies include various neuromechanical techniques: (a) isometric force control system for upper and lower extremities, (b) surface EMG & decomposition EMG systems for motor unit analysis, (c) transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) and functional electrical stimulation (FES) for neuromotor rehabilitation, and (d) meta-analysis using comprehensive meta-analysis software and brain imaging data meta-analysis. We hope this site gives you a better idea of the exciting people, projects, and opportunities available with us.
