Connecting Japan and the Nordics through Heart Research

NJ-FOCUS brings together leading researchers in forensic and cardiovascular medicine to strengthen collaboration between Japan and the Nordic countries.

This Symposium is the first NJ-FOCUS event hosted by Tokai University European Center in collaboration with Tokai University, The University of Copenhagen, and Rigshospitalet (Copenhagen University Hospital). The symposium explores sudden cardiac death (SCD) from multiple perspectives. The presentations will introduce Danish, Finnish and Japanese research relating to SCD, in both population-based studies, genetic analyses, and clinical investigations.

Practical info regarding registration:

Due to limited seating (50 seats), there will be an upper limit on the number of on-site attendees (registrations will be handled on a "first come, first served" basis).
There is no limit to the number of online attendees. The Symposium will be live-streamed on Zoom.
