NB: Here is the definition of MP* (in French) for those who are not familiar with the French System of Higher Education. Briefly speaking:
The MP program brings together students from the Mathematics, Physics and Engineering Sciences: MPSI program. It includes the classes MP and MP* (Class "star"). The class MP* (MP-star), formerly called M' (M "prime"), brings together the best students in the MPSI program to teach them a similar program as in MP program, but slightly extended and supplemented by additional and more advanced exercises, allowing them to prepare the most selective competitions, in particular those of École polytechnique (X) and École normale supérieure (ENS).
