Nitta Scholarship

The Fred and Helen Nitta Scholarship was established with a generous donation of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Nitta of Watsonville, California to commemorate their twenty-fifth anniversary in 1964.  This award is to honor and give recognition to an outstanding Buddhist youth.

How to Apply

1. Download the forms below. Please click on the "pop-out" icon (square with arrow to top right corner) for each document.

2. Register with the Nitta Scholarship Registration form. This will automatically create your own private Google Drive folder which the Nitta Scholarship administrators will have access to.  You should get an email at the email address provided with a link to this folder. If you do not get a link, please contact to the Scholarship Coordinator at nittascholarship@gmail.com

3. As you fill out or get documents, please upload them to this Google Drive. If you send documentation via email or regular mail, the administrators will upload to this folder.

4. For letters of recommendations:

   1. If in physical form, then please mail the still sealed letters to the administrators (address contained in the Application Form below)

   2. If electronic, then please have the writer email them to nittascholarship@gmail.com.
