Nitsuh Nega, Ph.D.                              

I am an applied economist based in Italy, holding a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Siena, Italy, as well as an MSc in Economic Policy Analysis and a BA in Economics from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia.

I have extensive international experience in research and policy engagement. I previously worked as a short-term Consultant at the World Bank–UNHCR Joint Data Center on Forced Displacement (JDC) in Copenhagen under the World Bank Group Africa Fellowship. I have also been a Visiting Research Fellow at the School of Business and Economics, Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU), Norway, and a Lecturer at Wolkite University, Ethiopia.

I am currently on the job market and eager to apply my expertise in agricultural economics, innovation adoption, clean energy and health, refugee welfare, social cohesion, and economic policy.
