Nitsuh Nega, Ph.D.                              

Dr. Nitsuh Nega is an applied economist based in Italy. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Siena, Italy, as well as an MSc in Economic Policy Analysis and a BA in Economics from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia.

Dr. Nitsuh has extensive international experience in research and policy engagement. She worked as a Consultant at the World Bank–UNHCR Joint Data Center on Forced Displacement (JDC) in Copenhagen under the World Bank Group Africa Fellowship. She has also been a Visiting Research Fellow at the School of Business and Economics, Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU), Norway, and a Lecturer at Wolkite University, Ethiopia. 

Her research focuses on agricultural economics, innovation adoption, clean energy and health, refugee welfare, social cohesion, and economic policy.
