Nitin Kumar BHARTI

Hello!

I am a Postdoctoral fellow in Economics  at NYU-Abu Dhabi from October'22. I did my PhD at Paris School of Economics (PSE) & University of Namur.

I also hold Coordinator position for the South and South East Asia region at the World Inequality Lab, overseeing and improving the economic inequality estimates for different countries.

My research interests include Applied Microeconomics and Economic History. In Applied Microeconomics, I am currently studying judicial stringency in delivering bail decisions in the Indian courts. The second area of my study deals with understanding the development of educational systems and their linkage with economic growth and inequality in the long run. The details of the ongoing projects are on the Research page.
