Hello! I'm NI Shengliang, a PhD candidate at the University of Tokyo, working in genomics and bioinformatics.
Email: fishengliangni [ATmark] gmail.com
I am passionate about discovering the intersection of biological meaning and computational methods, including statistics, mathematics (and maybe try machine learning and quantum computing one day?)
Here are my current research interests :
Design effective tools or methods to identify and annotate genomic elements in non-coding regions ,e.g. protein fossils (one type of pseudogenes) and undiscovered gene of prokaryotes.
Functional genetic elements in human genome (or cancer cell lines).
