Downloading the App

Before you download the app, please know that it can only be used for attendance purposes only. You must be registered for a section in order to use the app. 

The app cannot be installed on a Chromebook. 

Steps

1. Download the app to your mobile device (phone or tablet). You can find the app on both the Apple App or Google Play store (the icon is the same). 

2. When you initially open the app, you will see two buttons - TAP THE BUTTON LABELED PROFESSIONAL LEARNING.

3. Enter the District Code - VPeYbr

   • The code is case sensitive.

   • The District code will only need to be entered ONCE. If you delete the app or unregister, or log out of the app, you will need to re-enter the code. 

4. Next, enter your network credentials through the MyNISD Portal. 

   • Click "Login" after entering the Google Authenticator code.

5. At the homepage titled, "My Courses", tab the button labeled "Scan Section Code". 

   • If this is the first time using the app, it may ask for permission to access the camera. 

   • The QR Scanner will open up. Scan the QR code the instructor has provided. 

   • If you are registered for the section, there will be a small message at the bottom stating you have been marked attended. If you are NOT registered, you will be told your attendance could not be taken.
