The book is about an unlucky kid named Stanley Yelnats, who is sent to Camp Green Lake after being falsely accused of theft. Camp Green Lake is a place where kids can go instead of jail. It is in a desert in Texas. The plot circles around Stanley trying to survive in Camp Green Lake and the history of Camp Green Lake and how the actions of Stanley’s Grand Fathers in the past have affected Stanley's life in the present.
I really liked this book because it slowly tells us about the past while talking about the present. I liked the way that there are many things going on at once, like how zero is trying to learn how to read a write while Stanley is trying to find out more about his past. I think that it is great how some chapters of the book are about the past, and some chapters are about the present. It is cool how when the author talks about the past, what happens is very similar to what we saw happening in the chapter before when the author was talking about the present.
If I possessed a time machine, I would not use it as someone would anticipate for me to use it. I would not visit the past. I would travel to the future. One nanosecond to the future exactly.
Let's say I traveled to the time of the dinosaurs. I wouldn’t end up on one of the Dino's backs. I would get to choose where I land. If I traveled barely any time into the future, I could choose where I land, and basically teleport.
If you think I would see my future self, then you’re wrong. After just one nanosecond passes, I will be my future self because he is me after one nanosecond. Even though I will technically be one nanosecond younger than everybody else, it will be very cool to teleport.
If I could teleport, I would teleport to great wolf lodge and take everybody in the family so that we can skip the big drive and have more time in Great Wolf Lodge. I would be able to take multiple people with me because I could just put them in the time machine too.
First of all, what is communism? Communism is when everybody gets equal things and equal earnings. In capitalism, everybody is treated fairly. In communism, everyone is treated equally.
1. People will think that it is unreasonable that people who do easier work get the same profit. People want what they deserve.
2. Nobody will want to do difficult work because no matter what, they will get the same things.
3. Large businesses wont be big because they will have the same amount of money as a regular person.
4. Different people need different things. If everybody has the same things then people won't get what they require.
5. People won't have enough freedom to do what they want with their money.
Priscilla Chan is a philanthropist and a doctor. Philanthropists help people in a cool way. If someone wanted fish, a philanthropist wouldn’t give the person fish, they would teach this person how to fish. Priscilla Chan has two kids and is the wife of Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook. Priscilla Chan was born on February 24, 1985 and is now 33.
I will now talk about why Priscilla Chan is powerful. Priscilla Chan is powerful because she has the money to create charities and schools to help the people in need. Just recently, Priscilla donated 320 million dollars and is planning to find a bunch of schools in need and donate 3 BILLION DOLLARS TO EACH SCHOOL! Priscilla Chan also is planning on donating
47 BILLION DOLLARS to charities and people in need in the next month. In conclusion, Priscilla Chan is a great person and she deserves to be known.
