Conversation with physicist G. V. Pavan Kumar (IISER Pune) on his series documenting the stories of junior Indian scientists.
Interdisciplinary art-and-science project led by artists at Emily Carr University, Vancouver, BC. I worked on Phase 4 of the project with three superlative, versatile artists across the West Coast, on the theme of Invisible Forces. The finished product was displayed in ECU; pictures here and here. I wrote up a "key" to the fabric-and-beads sculpture handed out as pamphlets. I was later invited to talk about the experience at an event celebrating Swiss-Canadian relations.
I'm a corresponding scientist in this pen pal program involving middle school students, whose goal is to encourage them to overcome socioeconomic and psychological barriers to pursue a career in STEM.
