Privacy Policy — Nirmaan Estimator

Last updated: [23/08/26]

Nirmaan Estimator ("the app") is a construction material and cost estimation calculator. This page explains what happens to your information when you use it.

Summary

Nirmaan Estimator works entirely on your own device. We do not collect, store, or share your personal data, and the app does not require an internet connection to calculate estimates.

Information we collect

We do not collect any personal information. Specifically:

• All projects, inputs, and saved estimates you create in the app are stored only in your device's local storage. They are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared with us or with any third party.

• We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising services.

• We do not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide your name, email, phone number, or any other personal detail to use the app.

• Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data from your device settings, permanently deletes everything you saved. We have no copy of it and cannot recover it for you.

In-app purchases (Pro unlock)

The app offers an optional one-time "Pro" unlock through Google Play Billing. When you make this purchase:

• The transaction (payment method, billing details) is handled entirely by Google Play, under Google's own Privacy Policy. We do not see or store your payment information.

• We only receive confirmation from Google Play that a valid purchase was made, so the app can unlock Pro features on your device. No personal or financial details are shared with us as part of this.

Permissions the app uses

• Storage / Files — used only to temporarily save the PDF report you generate when you tap "PDF," so it can be handed to Android's Share feature. This file stays on your device unless you choose to share it yourself.

• Internet — used only to contact Google Play Billing when you choose to purchase Pro, and to check for a previous purchase if you tap "Restore purchase." No other feature of the app needs internet access.

Children's privacy

The app is a professional/technical tool intended for general audiences involved in construction planning and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect any information from children, since we do not collect personal information from any user.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in the future, the updated version will be posted on this same page with a revised "Last updated" date.
