XLRI offers a full-time two-year programme in Business Management. Upon completion, candidates receive a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) at XLRI. This program is highly regarded and is considered one of the best in India. This programme’s alumni are currently in high-ranking positions in various industries in India and abroad.
This curriculum provides the foundation for an analytical and conceptual understanding of Indian and International business. The BM program at XLRI is intended to integrate management theory and practice. This course teaches knowledge and encourages students to develop the necessary attitudes for becoming competent and responsible managers. It is continually updated with new trends and has a constantly changing programme.

The Institute offers a full-time two-year programme in human resource management. Upon completion, students receive a Postgraduate Diploma (Postgraduate Diploma) in Human Resource Management. The Institute’s oldest and most highly regarded teaching programme at XLRI PGDM HRM, It is regarded as the best programme available in India and Asia-Pacific. It aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage HR in a way that promotes the development of individuals, and organizations.

Xavier School of Management Admission Process
These criteria will be used to select the right candidate:
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in any discipline (minimum three years of full-time study)
You must appear for XAT 2021 (2018-2020), or GMAT (2018-202020).
Minimum of five years’ experience in managerial roles after completing a post-degree.
All eligible candidates who have registered for the program will be shortlisted for interview (Personal/Skype). The performance in the interview will determine final selection.

From 21 lakhs in 2019, the median salary offered to the batch increased to INR 23 Lakhs per year.

There are a variety of scholarships that XLRI-converts can apply for.
Aditya Birla scholarship: This is a merit-based scholarship that is awarded to students based on criteria set by the company. The scholarship amount is INR 175,000
T Thomas: The company decides the criteria for this scholarship. The amount is INR 100,000.
Kalyan Ganguly XEF scholarship: This merit-cum-need based scholarship is worth INR 100,000. It is named after Kalyan Ganguly (a 1971-73 alumnus from (XLRI). Each year, one student is eligible to receive the award.
XLRI Diamond Jubilee scholarship: This scholarship was established in 2009. It is a merit-cumul-need based scholarship that can be used by 1st or 2nd-year students. Each year, this scholarship is awarded to 2 students. The scholarship awards 2 students each year with tuition fees up to 2, 55,000 and 2nd year tuition fees up to 2, 85,000 respectively.
Alumni Scholarship: The XEF allows alumni to give back to XLRI – Xavier School of Management One of its initiatives, the alumni scholarship, is one. These scholarships are awarded to 4 students from both GM/HRM and each student receives a scholarship of INR 150,000.
XLRI Jamshedpur – Facilities
XLRI provides world-class facilities for its students. These include:
Library at XLRI’s fully-automated library includes 66,687 books and 16806 bound volumes of print journals, some dating back to the inception of the journal, and 170 print periodicals publications from both national and international countries.
Hostel at XLRI offers two hostels, one for girls and one for boys, on its campus. Girls hostels offer 200+ and 65+ rooms, and are available for single or twin-sharing. All hostels offer basic amenities such as water purifiers and common room, recreation area, TV, laundry service, internet facility, security system, surveillance system, etc.
Sports Complex: Students have access to swimming pools and squash courts as well as tennis courts and a track for athletics through the institute’s association to local clubs and other sporting associations.
Labs at XLRI This includes computer labs as well as behavioural labs.
Cafeteria: This cafeteria offers a variety of food and is clean.
Gymnasium: Both boys and girls can use the campus’ gym facilities. The gyms are well-equipped.
There are emergency medical facilities on campus.

Seventy faculty members are employed by the institute, from different disciplines. The majority of faculty members are involved in training and consulting assignments in various industry sectors, while also holding advisory and director positions in Indian government agencies.
