Shona Bible Privacy Policy

Shona Bible is published by NIPPT Tech. This policy covers the Shona Bible app for Android.
Information stored on your device
The app stores reading position, bookmarks, highlights, notes, prayer-journal entries, saved verses, reading preferences, devotional progress, and optional study-profile answers such as your first name, focus areas, and prayer request on your device. NIPPT Tech does not operate an account system that receives this study data. If Android backup is enabled, Google may back up supported app data through your Google account.
Ask AI
Ask AI is optional. When you use it, your question and the Bible passage you selected are sent to Google Firebase AI Logic and its model provider to generate an answer. Do not include confidential personal information in an AI question.
Audio, downloads, and announcements
Firebase App Check may verify genuine app requests. Cloudflare delivers requested files and may process standard network and security data such as IP address, request time, request path, and security logs. Supabase provides app announcements and uses an app-audience identifier; it does not receive your notes, prayer journal, reading history, or study profile.
Analytics and crash diagnostics
The app uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. These services may process app interactions, app version, device model, operating-system information, installation identifiers, crash logs, and diagnostics to improve reliability.
Advertising
The free app may show a launch advertisement from Meta Audience Network. Meta is the app's only advertising provider; the app does not use Google AdMob. Meta may process IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, advertising or app identifiers, app interactions, ad interactions, diagnostics, and privacy choices for advertising, measurement, analytics, fraud prevention, and security. Subscribers do not see launch ads while their entitlement is active.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Google Play. NIPPT Tech does not receive payment-card details. The app receives product, purchase, and entitlement information needed to offer, verify, restore, and unlock subscribed features.
Sharing and feedback
Verse sharing occurs only when you choose a share action. The text or image is passed to the destination app you choose. If you email support, NIPPT Tech receives your email address and message and uses them to respond, provide support, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
Your choices and deletion
Ask AI, verse sharing, notifications, and study-profile questions are optional. You can manage advertising privacy choices in the app when required for your region, manage device backup in Android settings, delete local data by clearing app storage or uninstalling, manage platform backups through your Google account, and manage or cancel subscriptions in Google Play. Security, children, and changes
Network connections used by the app require HTTPS. The app is not directed specifically to children. If the app's audience, SDKs, or data practices materially change, this policy and the relevant store disclosures will be updated.
