Privacy Policy for NIORA: AI Playground

This Privacy Policy applies to the NIORA: AI Playground mobile application (hereby referred to as "Application"), developed by Faiz Ahmed Khan (hereby referred to as "Service Provider"). This service is offered as a Freemium model and is intended for use "AS IS."

1. Information We Collect

The Application collects information when you download, install, and use it. This collection may occur directly by the Service Provider or through third-party services integrated into the Application. The information collected may include:

• Identifiers:

  • Your device's Internet Protocol address (IP address).

  • User ID (a unique identifier assigned to your account within the Application, typically generated by our authentication service).

  • Email address (if provided during account creation).

  • Device ID and Advertising ID (for analytics and ad purposes, where applicable).

  • Name (if you choose to provide it during account creation or profile setup).

  • Password (stored securely in an encrypted format by our authentication service).

• User-Generated Content:

  • Text inputs and prompts provided by you to the NIORA: AI Playground.

  • Generated AI chat responses.

  • Image generation prompts provided by you.

  • AI-generated images created within the Application.

• Financial Information:

  • Purchase history and subscription status (related to in-app purchases).

• App Activity & Usage Data:

  • The pages/screens of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, and the time spent on those pages.

  • Overall time spent on the Application.

  • Application interactions (e.g., button clicks, feature usage).

  • Crash logs and diagnostic data related to Application performance.

• Device and Other IDs:

  • The operating system you use on your mobile device.

  • Device manufacturer and model.

The Application does not gather precise real-time information about the exact location of your mobile device.

2. How We Use Your Information

The Service Provider uses the collected information for the following purposes:

• To Provide and Maintain the Application: To deliver the core functionalities of the AI chat companion and image generation.

• Account Management: To create, maintain, and manage your user account, including facilitating logins and managing subscriptions.

• Personalization: To personalize your experience within the Application, such as remembering preferences or displaying relevant content.

• Improvement of Services: To understand how users interact with the Application, identify areas for improvement, troubleshoot issues, and enhance features. This includes analyzing usage patterns and crash reports.

• Communication: To provide you with important information, required notices, and, with your consent, marketing promotions or updates about the Application from time to time.

• Security: To protect against fraud, abuse, and other security risks.

• Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.

The third-party service providers used by the Application include:

• Firebase Firestore: Our database that stores user profiles, chat histories, image prompts, and generated image data associated with your user ID.

The Service Provider may share your information with these trusted third-party service providers who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

4. Data Disclosure

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information in the following circumstances:

• As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process.

• When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

• With our trusted service providers who perform services on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality obligations.

5. Data Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality and security of your information. We implement physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the information we process and maintain. All data transmitted between your device and our servers (e.g., Firebase) is encrypted in transit using industry-standard protocols (e.g., HTTPS/SSL/TLS).

We retain User Provided data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable time thereafter, as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data.

• Deleting Specific Data (e.g., Chat History) Without Account Deletion: We provide you with direct control to delete your chat history (conversations with the AI) directly within the AI Chat Companion: Create-Play app, without needing to delete your entire account. To delete your chat history, please visit: https://sites.google.com/view/aichatcompaniondatadelete/home This link will explain the steps to delete your chat history from within the app (e.g., "Navigate to your 'Profile' or 'Account' section and tap on the 'Delete Chat History' button.").

8. Children's Privacy

The AI Chat Companion: Create-Play app is designed for and intended for use by individuals who are 18 years of age or older. To help ensure our app is used by the appropriate audience, we include a neutral age verification screen at the start of the app experience.

We are committed to protecting the privacy of younger users. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from individuals under the age of 18 without appropriate parental consent. In the unlikely event that we become aware that personal information has been collected from a user under 18 without such consent, we will take prompt steps to delete that information from our servers.
