Welcome to NIO Lab!

The Network Intelligence & Optimization (NIO) Laboratory is a research group within the Department of Information and Communication Engineering at Kongju National University, Cheonan, Republic of Korea. Our research focuses on intelligent optimization for next-generation communication networks, with a particular emphasis on 5G/6G and beyond. Current research interests include network resource management, service placement, traffic routing, network orchestration, and AI-native networking. By integrating artificial intelligence, network intelligence, and optimization theory, the laboratory strives to advance autonomous, efficient, reliable, and sustainable communication networks.
