Ninon Meyer
Hola! I am a wildlife ecologist interested in animal spatial ecology, landscape connectivity and conservation.
I grew up in Alsace in France and my research has taken me to many incredible places to study amazing species. Among others, I had the chance to work on squirrel gliders (photo) in Australia, tapirs and jaguars in the tropical forests of Panama, zebras and wildebeests in the South African savannah, white-lipped peccaries in the Maya Forest of Mexico, and the wildlife of the Black Forest in Germany.
Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Toronto. Previously, I was a Marie Curie fellow at the University of Freiburg (2021-2022), and a PRIME-DAAD postdoc fellow at the University of Goettingen in Germany and the University of Newcastle in Australia (2019-2020). I received my PhD from ECOSUR, Mexico (2015-2018).
I am always keen on collaborating on new projects that I could contribute to, so don't hesitate to reach out.
