Realm of Harmony was born from a shared desire to not only celebrate the worlds that shaped us, but to build a space where creators of all kinds could feel seen, heard, and supported.
We came to the Ninjago fandom through different paths—one of us through Morro cosplays and musical parodies, the other through AU worldbuilding and lyrical storytelling—but what united us was the belief that fanwork is art, and that every remix, rewrite, and reinterpretation adds a new thread to the tapestry of a fandom’s legacy.
Over the years, we both felt the highs and lows that come with being creators in online spaces. From finding unexpected kinship through fandom music, to watching projects bloom from sparks of inspiration, we’ve also faced periods of deep burnout, isolation, and the growing pains of navigating evolving communities. But something kept pulling us back—you. The fans who sing along. The writers who breathe new life into forgotten characters. The artists who translate emotion into color and form. The voice actors, composers, editors, mixers, lore nerds, roleplayers, and dreamers who remind us that collaboration isn’t just about content—it’s about connection.
Realm of Harmony began as a whisper—an idea to bring together creators across disciplines into one evolving collaborative sanctuary. Whether it was an early concept for a fanalbum, or the roots of a sprawling AU, our goal wasn’t just to produce tributes—it was to provide a home base for those who had stories to tell and needed a place to tell them. And when the Ninjago: Crystalized season dropped in 2022, it gave us the spark we needed to bring this dream into reality.
Together, we realized this community didn’t have to be siloed across scattered platforms or isolated by algorithmic reach. It could be harmonic. It could be ours.
Today, RoH is more than a fanmusic label. It’s a collaborative hub for multimedia projects, a gathering place for obscure AU lovers and fandom drifters alike, and a constantly shifting constellation of voices who care deeply about narrative, nuance, and nerdcore creativity.
This is for the people who remix canon not just because they can, but because they must—to heal, to speak, to imagine new outcomes where none were given. This is for anyone who's ever been told their ideas were "too much" or "too niche." This is for the artists on the margins, for the genre-benders, and for those who believe fandoms can be family.
We started this because we believe in the magic of creative ecosystems—and in the people who make them thrive.
Welcome to the Realm. We’re so glad you’re here.
When we chose the name Realm of Harmony, it wasn’t just a tribute to a cool-sounding Ninjago location or a catchy title for a fanproject. It was a philosophy—a guiding star. And it's one that continues to shape the way we think, create, and collaborate.
We’ve often reflected on how ancient thinkers like the Pythagoreans and Alfred North Whitehead described harmony not just as music, but as a pattern—a universal order—that threads itself through all layers of existence. That concept resonated with us deeply. Because at its heart, Realm of Harmony isn’t just about fan songs or worldbuilding. It’s about bringing disparate parts—of stories, of people, of ourselves—into meaningful connection.
Let’s break that down:
🎵 Musical Harmony
This is where it all began: melodies, rhythms, lyrics. Creating songs that don’t just sound good, but that feel true to the worlds they’re inspired by. Whether it’s an anthem for a Ninjago villain or a soft piano theme for a forgotten AU, we seek emotional resonance, not just musicality.
🌌 Physical Harmony
Think of how the stars move across the night sky, or how seasons shift with poetic precision. This is the kind of cosmic elegance we aim to echo in our underscore projects and lore design—reminding us that even in fantasy, there’s a rhythm worth honoring.
👥 Human Harmony
We're building more than content—we're cultivating a community. A place where creatives across backgrounds, time zones, and skill levels can align, not just in output, but in spirit. Respect, consent, collaboration—these aren’t just buzzwords. They’re how we harmonize as people.
🔥 Action Harmony
It matters to us that our art reflects our values. That what we say and what we do line up. Whether we’re moderating a Discord space, sharing resources, or lifting up marginalized voices, we want to be in tune with the ethics of our own work.
🕊 Spiritual Harmony
Everyone in this space comes from somewhere—emotionally, culturally, spiritually. RoH isn't here to dictate belief, but to create a space where people can be in conversation with themselves and their art. Where trauma, healing, and identity can coexist in the same creative breath.
🎨 Aesthetic Harmony
We believe in the beauty of intention. That design matters. That colors, sounds, textures, and pacing all carry symbolic weight. Whether we’re crafting album visuals, writing scene transitions, or scripting a fan musical, we aim for beauty that means something.
📖 Doxic Harmony
Every fandom, every AU, every piece of fanwork carries its own internal logic—its own worldview. To honor that is to build with coherence. Whether we’re reinterpreting canon or building new universes from scratch, we strive for stories that are internally consistent and emotionally honest.
So, Realm of Harmony isn’t just a name. It’s a structure of care. A declaration of values. A reminder that in a world that often feels fragmented, we can choose to build things that fit together.
Thanks for harmonizing with us.
