Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Slash 'em Out mobile application, hereafter referred to as the "Application", developed and provided by Astro Rift Games, hereafter referred to as the "Service Provider".

The Application is provided as a freemium service and is intended for use as is.

Information Collection and Use

The Application may collect and process certain information when you download, access, or use it. This information may include:

Device or other identifiers, such as the Android Advertising ID, App Set ID, device identifiers, or similar identifiers used by third-party services.
Technical information, such as device type, operating system, app version, IP address, crash information, diagnostics, and performance data.
App activity and interaction data, such as sessions, ad interactions, rewarded ad completions, gameplay events, app usage, and time spent in the Application.
Purchase history related to in-app purchases, such as purchased items, purchase status, transaction validation data, and purchase restoration data. The Application does not collect or store payment card information.
Google Play Games Services profile information, when the user chooses to sign in, such as player ID, player name, avatar, achievements, leaderboard data, and game progress information made available through Google Play Games Services.

The Application does not collect precise location data from your device.

The Application does not require users to create an account directly within the Application. Users may optionally sign in using Google Play Games Services, which uses an account created and managed outside of the Application.

How Information Is Used

The Service Provider and third-party services used by the Application may use collected information for the following purposes:

To provide and operate the Application.
To enable gameplay features, player profile display, achievements, leaderboards, saved progress, and other Google Play Games Services features.
To deliver, measure, and improve advertisements.
To provide rewarded ads and validate ad rewards.
To process, validate, and restore in-app purchases.
To analyze app performance, usage, and stability.
To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security issues, and technical problems.
To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and platform requirements.

The Application uses third-party services that may collect, process, and share data according to their own privacy policies and data handling practices.

The Service Provider may share information with third-party service providers only as necessary to operate, improve, monetize, secure, and support the Application.

With third-party services integrated into the Application, such as Google Play Services, Google Play Games Services, Google AdMob, Google Play Billing, and Unity.
When required by law, legal process, or government request.
When necessary to protect the rights, safety, or security of users, the Service Provider, or others.
To investigate fraud, abuse, technical issues, or security incidents.

The Service Provider does not sell personal information.

Advertising

The Application may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob or other advertising services. These services may use device identifiers, advertising identifiers, app interactions, and related technical data to provide ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and comply with legal and platform requirements.

Depending on the user's settings, consent choices, region, and applicable laws, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.

Users can manage ad personalization through their device settings and Google account settings.

In-App Purchases

The Application may offer optional in-app purchases. Payment processing is handled by Google Play. The Service Provider does not collect or store payment card numbers, bank account information, or other payment credentials.

The Application may process purchase-related information, such as purchase status, purchased products, transaction validation data, and purchase restoration data, in order to deliver purchased content, prevent fraud, and maintain purchase functionality.

Google Play Games Services

The Application may allow users to sign in with Google Play Games Services. If the user chooses to sign in, the Application may access information made available by Google Play Games Services, such as player ID, player name, avatar, achievements, leaderboard information, and game progress information.

This information is used to provide app functionality, including profile display, achievements, leaderboards, and game progress features. Google Play Games Services data is not used by the Service Provider for advertising purposes.

Data Retention

The Service Provider retains collected information only for as long as necessary to provide the Application, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and support app functionality.

Some data may be stored and managed by third-party services according to their own privacy policies and retention practices.

User Choices and Data Deletion

Users can stop all collection of information by uninstalling the Application.

Users may also manage or delete certain data through their Google account, Google Play Games profile, Google Play settings, device settings, or Google privacy controls.

Please note that some data is processed and controlled by third-party services, such as Google Play Services, Google Play Games Services, Google AdMob, Google Play Billing, or Unity. Requests related to data controlled by those services may need to be managed through the privacy tools and settings provided by those services.

Children's Privacy

The Application may be available to users within age groups selected in the Google Play Console, including children where applicable.

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is necessary for the operation of the Application and the third-party services integrated into it, such as Google Play Services, Google Play Games Services, Google AdMob, Google Play Billing, and Unity.

Where required, the Application and its third-party services are intended to operate in compliance with applicable child privacy laws and Google Play policies, including requirements related to advertising, data collection, and age-appropriate experiences.

If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information directly to the Service Provider, they may contact the Service Provider at astroriftgames@gmail.com. The Service Provider will take reasonable steps to delete such information if required.

Security

The Service Provider takes reasonable measures to protect information processed through the Application.

Third-party services used by the Application may transmit data using encryption in transit, such as Transport Layer Security (TLS), according to their own data handling practices.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. Therefore, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

International Data Transfers

Information processed by the Application or by third-party services may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the user's country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in the user's jurisdiction.

By using the Application, users acknowledge that their information may be processed by the Service Provider and third-party services in accordance with this Privacy Policy and the privacy policies of the relevant third-party services.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.

Users are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted means that users accept the updated Privacy Policy.
