I am Ning Chen, an agricultural economist based in Taiwan. Before I delved into this field, I worked in the media for ten years. During my career as a journalist, I covered numerous environmental and agricultural issues in Taiwan, and sometimes even abroad. These work experiences motivated me to shift my career path, transitioning from an interpreter of knowledge to a researcher who seeks to generate new knowledge and dive deeper into contemporary agricultural problems. My research interests include livestock economics, farm animal welfare, and animal infectious diseases. In addition to my research live, I am a runner and am continuously training to swim better.
