Environmental Assessment Procedures Volume I Generic 2023/Procedures voor Milieu Effecten Analyse Deel I Algemene Procedures 2023
As of December 2023, NIMOS has released the following procedure: Environmental Assessment Procedures Volume I Generic (December 2023). This replaces the Environmental Assessment Guidelines Volume I Generic (December 2023). New projects that are submitted from January 2024 and have to go through the EIA process will be processed according to these procedures . Per december 2023 heeft het NIMOS de volgende procedure uitgebracht: Milieu Effecten Analyse Procedures Deel I Algemene Procedures (December 2023). Dit ter vervanging van de Milieu Effecten Analyse Richtlijnen Deel I Algemene Richtlijnen (Augustus 2009). Nieuwe projecten die vanaf januari 2024 worden ingediend en het MEA proces moeten doorlopen zullen per deze procedures worden behandeld. Guidance Note NIMOS Environmental Assessment Process 2023/Wegwijzer voor het NIMOS Milieu Effecten Analyse Proces 2023
A new guidance note has been released. This means that the 2021 guidance note will no longer be valid. From January 2024, new submitted projects will be handled according to this guide and the new generic EIA procedures. Er is een nieuwe wegwijzer uitgebracht. Hiermee komt de wegwijzer van 2021 te vervallen. Vanaf Januari 2024 zullen nieuwe ingediende projecten volgens deze wegwijzer en de nieuwe algemene MEA procedures worden behandeld. Draft Environmental Assessment Procedures Volume IX: Part 2
Offshore Oil and Gas Development, Production and Decommissioning
Anticiperend op de olievondsten in het offshore gebied van Suriname en mogelijke ontwikkeling van het olieveld, heeft het NIMOS (in transitie naar de NMA ( Nationale Milieu Autoriteit)) het concept Milieu Effecten Analyse Procedures Volume IX: Part 2 Offshore Oil and Gas Development, Production and Decommissioning . De conceptprocedures zijn in Engels beschikbaar voor publieke input t/m 07 juli 2023. Commentaren kunnen worden gericht naar mdanoe@nimos.org
Anticipating on the oil findings in offshore Suriname and possible field development, NIMOS (transitioning to the NMA (Nationale Milieu Autoriteit)) has developed draft Environmental Assessment Procedures Volume IX: Part 2 Development, Production and Decommissioning. The draft procedures are in English available for public input until 07 July 2023. Comments can be directed to mdanoe@nimos.org

Concept Algemene Milieu Effecten Analyse Procedures/
Draft Generic Environmental Assessment Procedures
In verband met de toekomstige transitie van het NIMOS naar de NMA (Nationale Milieu Autoriteit) is het NIMOS van start gegaan met het updaten van de Algemene Milieu Effecten Analyse Richtlijnen van 2009. De nieuwe conceptprocedures zijn in Nederlands en Engels beschikbaar voor publieke input t/m 18 juni 2023. Commentaren kunnen worden gericht naar qtjonakon@nimos.org
For the future transition from NIMOS to the NMA (National Environmental Authority), NIMOS has started updating the General Environmental Impact Assessment Guidelines of 2009. The new draft procedures are in Dutch and English available for public input until 18 June 2023. Comments can be directed to qtjonakon@nimos.org
