Nimisha Pahuja

I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at the International Centre of Theoretical Sciences (ICTS-TIFR). My research lies in the intersection of algebraic combinatorics and integrable probability, with a focus on interacting particle systems, particularly multispecies asymmetric exclusion processes (ASEP). My research lies at the intersection of algebraic combinatorics and integrable probability, with a focus on interacting particle systems. I use combinatorial and probabilistic methods to study their stationary distributions and large-time behaviour. My work includes questions about correlations, limit shapes, and asymptotic particle speeds.

I completed my PhD at the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, under the guidance of Prof. Arvind Ayyer, after obtaining my undergraduate degree from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi. Following my PhD, I held a short-term postdoctoral position at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences (Leipzig).
