1. Preliminary Examination (Prelims)

• Two Papers:

  • General Studies Paper I: 200 marks, 2 hours duration.

  • Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) Paper II: 200 marks, 2 hours duration.

• Qualifying Nature: Paper II (CSAT) is of qualifying nature. Candidates need to score at least 33% to qualify for the Mains exam. The marks in Paper II are not counted in the merit list.
