Privacy Policy for NimbleBall Bounce
Effective date: March 17, 2026
NimbleBall Bounce (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data may be collected when you use the app and how it is used.
1. Information We Collect
We and our third-party service providers may collect limited data, including:
- Device identifiers (for example, IDFV, advertising identifiers where allowed)
- Advertising data (such as ad impressions, clicks, and basic diagnostics)
- Product interaction / usage data (such as screens viewed, game sessions, and basic analytics events)
This data is used to provide app functionality, improve the game, and display third-party ads.
2. Third-Party Services
Use this list (Unity Ads first; AdMob when the app is configured to use it):
- Unity Ads (display of ads; may be the primary ad network depending on app configuration)
- Google AdMob (display of ads when enabled in configuration)
- Google User Messaging Platform (consent messaging and privacy choices, mainly for EEA/UK/CH users)
- Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics (analytics and crash reporting)
- Apple Game Center (leaderboards and achievements)
- Apple In-App Purchases / StoreKit (purchases)
These providers may process data according to their own privacy policies. Please refer to their respective policies for more details.
3. Tracking and Advertising
When you use the app, we may show third-party advertisements via Unity Ads and/or Google AdMob, depending on how the app is configured.
- For users identified as children or under the age of consent, we configure ad networks with child-directed and under-the-age-of-consent settings and request only non-personalized, age-appropriate ads.
- For users who indicate that they are adults, we may request permission for tracking (if required by the platform) and may use advertising identifiers and analytics data to improve ad relevance where allowed.
Where required (for example, in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland), we use Google User Messaging Platform to ask for your consent choices regarding ads and data processing.
If you do not give consent where required, or if you are classified as a child/underage user, we will use more privacy‑protective ad settings (such as non‑personalized or contextual ads and stricter content filters).
4. Age Gate and Children’s Privacy
When you first open the app, we may show an age selection screen (age gate). This is used to configure ad and privacy settings:
- Users who select an age under 13, or otherwise appear to be children, are treated as child users. We configure our ad settings to be child-directed and under the age of consent and do not request tracking authorization.
- Users who select an age in a teen range (for example, 13–15) are treated conservatively as under the age of consent with stricter ad settings.
- Users who select 16+ are treated as adults. For adult users, we may request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission where applicable and use advertising identifiers where allowed.
The age choice is stored on your device so that you are not asked every time. If you uninstall and reinstall the app, you may be asked again.
5. App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
For adult users on iOS devices that support it, we may request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission. This system dialog is provided by Apple.
- If you allow tracking, some partners (such as ad networks) may use identifiers for advertising and analytics, according to their own policies.
- If you do not allow tracking, we will not use data in a way that is considered tracking across other companies’ apps and websites.
Child and under‑age users are not asked for ATT permission.
6. Game Center and Apple Services
If you use Game Center or make purchases, Apple may process account‑related information under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive your Apple ID or Game Center credentials.
7. Notifications
The app may send local notifications (for example, gameplay reminders). You can manage notification permissions in your device settings at any time.
8. Data Retention
Gameplay progress and settings are stored on your device and, where needed, in app‑related storage used for app features (such as widgets or cloud backups, if enabled by the platform).
Third-party providers (such as Unity, AdMob, Firebase, and Apple) may retain data according to their own retention policies.
9. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect data used by the app. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10. Your Choices
You can:
- Disable notifications in iOS Settings.
- Change your device privacy settings (for example, limit ad tracking, reset advertising identifiers).
- Where available (for example, in EEA/UK/CH), manage your ad consent via the consent dialog powered by Google User Messaging Platform.
- Stop using and uninstall the app at any time.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
