Hi, I’m Nimalka Rathnayaka, a compassionate caregiver and emerging Health & Safety Coordinator based in Christchurch. With over five years of experience in aged care and dementia support, I’m now confidently transitioning into workplace health and safety, wellbeing coordination, and admin support roles. This portfolio showcases my journey, skills, and real-world examples—from risk assessments and SOP reviews to inclusive wellbeing resources and digital tools. I’m currently completing the NZ Diploma in Workplace Health and Safety Management (Level 6), and I’m passionate about creating safer, more respectful environments for all.
