I, Dr. Nilanjan Seal, am currently pursuing postdoctoral research at Southern Methodist University, USA. I earned my PhD from CSIR-Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSMCRI), Bhavnagar, India, under the guidance of Prof. Subhadip Neogi. My doctoral thesis entitled "Rational construction of crystalline porous materials for functionality actuated sensing, adsorption and catalytic applications", was primarily focused on synthesis of new mixed-linker functionalized MOF crystals for investigating diverse properties. At present, my research is centered on synthesis of inorganic metal nanoclusters and flexible organic crystals.
