We are known as Christians with no distinctive title; we are a company of people of different races, having a common faith in Jesus Christ (God's Son) as our Saviour who saved us from our sins and gave us eternal life; to obey His commands by being baptised (immersion); walk in newness of life and obey Him as Lord by building up His people and telling the glorious gospel to everone. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. For it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. (Romans 1:16 MEV)
As an independent church having no earthly headquarters or being controlled by any outside body, we are subject to the Bible teachings and the guidance of the Holy Spirit in our meetings. At the same time, we share a deep affinity with true Christians everywhere.
A self-governing body—we are governed by local elders responsible for the conduct and growth of the assembly. We have no clergymen, but our preachers and teachers are experienced men with God-given abilities from various walks of life.
