Mrs. Preba
Vanakkam . My name is Preba Devamanohar and will be your primary teacher for Nilai 7A this year.
This is my 9th year , teaching at TALENT. It has been a great teaching and learning experience. Teaching has always my passion and owe it to my dad who is a retired teacher and Headmaster. I Am also part of TALENT Executive Committee helping out as much as I can.
As a Primary Teacher, I will be responsible for planning, teaching and grading.
Our Assistant Teacher, Devipriyadharshini will be helping out in class room, homework corrections and teach in my absence
Together we are looking forward to a successful Academic year.

Instructions for Google Classroom.
Classroom Activation
The kids will be mapped to the Google Classroom using the kids gmail account
You will get a "Class invitation" to join the class. Click Join option in the email to activate the Google Classroom. You will have to verify the gmail account if you are currently logged in the browser using multiple accounts.
If you have problems in activating using the welcome email, request for class code from the teacher and add it to the kids classroom account by visiting https://classroom.google.com/
Assignments
Once the teacher assigns a homework, the kids will be able to immediately view the homework in their Google Classroom and will also get an email to the mapped email account. There might be a slight delay in getting the email but the homework will be available in the classroom immediately.
The homework might have attachments in PDF, image or word doc format. You will be able to download and complete the assignment.
Once the kids does their homework, please take a picture/ scan the homework and have it in PDF or Image format.
Go to your google classroom and select the particular assignment.
You can also use the homework link that is emailed from google classroom.
Another way to check is using the calendar feature, that will show you when the assignment are due.
Once you are in the assignment, you will be able to add the homework attachment using "Add or create" under "Your work" section.
Click on the "Add or create"
If the completed homework is in the computer/ cellphone, select file option and upload using the option.
If the completed homework is in the Google Drive, select Google Drive option and select the file from the Google drive.
After the attachment is uploaded you will be able to "Turn in" the homework. This will present the turned-in homework to the teacher.
After submitting the homework if you would like to fix anything you will be able to Unsubmit and re-upload the homework and click "Turn in" again.
The teacher may return a homework for redo if the submission is not up to par or if the homework is incomplete. In this case you will get an email regarding this and the kid should redo the homework and resubmit.
Note: Do not post any public comments in Google classroom. Also the homework submission is private so only the teacher will be able to see the completed assignments.
