This course will develop and harness students' skills in managing design as the design pioneers for strategic innovation and change. Students will explore theoretical topics in areas such as innovation and creativity and the course will support students with suitable analytical discourse. Students will observe case studies, research methodologies, presentations and design audits. The aim is to allow students to disseminate your practice in the observation, analysis, interpretation, and research activity stages and to allow students to make informed references to the world beyond design, looking at cultural and contextual references including new technology, economics, politics, law and the global environment.

In this course, students will learn how to formulate innovative business and corporate level strategies for developing business models. Through various teaching and learning methods like lectures, case studies, group discussions, and practical exercises, students will gain valuable insights into strategic management. The curriculum covers important topics including business models, strategic management, competitor analysis, competitive strategies, business and corporate level strategy, change management, and analysis of the external and internal business environment. Students will also explore organizational structure, behavior, and culture, which are crucial for implementing strategies. Assessment methods such as assignments, presentations, group projects, and examinations will be used to evaluate students' progress. These assessments will measure their ability to think strategically, analyze business environments, propose effective business models, and make informed decisions. By the end of the course, students will have achieved specific learning outcomes. They will be able to develop innovative business and corporate level strategies for business model development. They will also have the skills to analyze and evaluate different business models, conduct comprehensive competitor analysis, and propose effective competitive strategies to enhance business performance. This course introduces students to understand the process, techniques, and practices of developing and managing requirements, to develop an analytical approach and practical skills to requirement engineering process, and to select and implement effective techniques, and practices in developing and managing requirements’. This course aims to give opportunities to the student to practice and apply their knowledge and skills through development of an industrial project. The project covers the project identification through understanding the problem and its needs, analyses several approaches or methodology to solve the problem, through preparation of software requirement specification (SRS). Also student will exposed to several standards and principles in engineering process improvement. An important component of the course is the student’s participation in a team project, which will allow them to experience and explore effective techniques for eliciting requirements, analyzing and negotiating requirements, specifying requirements, evaluating requirements and managing requirements’ change in a Media Digital artefact development project
This course provides an introduction to a variety of research methods used in science / non-science field. Students are taught to follow the process of conducting research including understanding research methodology, conducting the literature review, data sampling, collection, analysis, and interpretation using various approaches and tools. The faculty graduate students need to focus on the following issues: the nature of research and research process, an appropriate research method, the essential stages in planning a research project, literature survey and use of statistical technique to analyze research data. At the end of the semester, students are required to prepare and present a research proposal.

This course will emphasise the knowledge of computer as an art appreciation tool. The exercise will be suggestive to visual art that using computer as technological medium. The exercise also will be basis on real issues regarding cultural heritage. Student will be able to understand the basic of computer to use it in art making activities. Course assessment will be conducted by comprehensive coursework portfolio.
This course is focusing on the fundamentals of design, development and implementation of multimedia and web products. Contents of this course include producing and manipulating elements of multimedia using hypermedia, WWW, audio storage, web interface, usability, basic programming (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML etc) Students will be exposed to the process of developing multimedia products and websites. Evaluation criteria in this course are design processes, the end multimedia and web products, research, documentations, and final exhibition.

The Current Issues Seminar Course in Multimedia will bring students closer to the world of academic writing. In this course, students will be exposed how to find current issues related to the field of Multimedia and related technology to be decomposed and debated. Students will be guided to write academic articles and present in a proceeding seminar. Proceeding seminar will be fully enforced by students; from writing proposal papers to successful running the seminar. Assessment will be based on writing academic articles, presentations in seminar and organizing the seminar.
