Document Overview
This document has been created and reproduced by the Administrative Department. All members of the foundation are required to follow these road laws at all times, failure to do so can result; removal of vehicle permissions, demotion, or a strike. All the punishments stated above are just a list of possible punishments, actual punishments will be decided by the Administrative Department or the Ethics Committee.
§.1.0 ➣ Members of the SCP Foundation must obtain a general license to be allowed to drive vehicles
§.1.1 ➣ Driving without a license will result in a strike, or temporary blacklist from gaining a license.
§.1.2 ➣ Licenses are issued and managed by the Ethics Committee.
§.2.0 ➣ Members of the foundation are restricted from going over the speed of 45 MPH.
§.2.1 ➣ Members of the Mobile Task Forces and Security Departments may exceed this if necessary, such as during raids, riots, or breaches.
§.3.0 ➣ Jaywalking is prohibited at all times, no excuses.
§.4.0 ➣ Drivers are restricted from entering areas outside of their clearance.
§.4.1 ➣ Drivers are restricted from entering buildings or structures not built for vehicles.
§.4.2 ➣ Drivers are prohibited from entering roads that are under construction, or any buildings outside their clearance.
§.5.0 ➣ Reckless driving is prohibited at all times.
§.5.1 ➣ This can include; ramming into other vehicles, ramming into other structures, driving on the wrong side of the road, purposefully swerving along lanes, and driving into structures not built for vehicles.
§.6.0 ➣ All drivers (excluding Overwatch Council and Site Director) must stop at checkpoints and show ID on request.
§.6.1 ➣ Failure to follow these requests can result in termination.
§.6.2 ➣ Only members of the Security Department or Mobile Task Forces are permitted to stop drivers and force them to present their ID.
§.6.3 ➣ Under certain circumstances, such as during a riot, raid, or breach, SD or MTF personnel can bypass checkpoints.
§.7.0 ➣ Members of the foundation are prohibited from hijacking any vehicle.
§.7.1 ➣ This does include parked or unused vehicles, personnel must have the drivers consent to use their vehicle.
§.8.0 ➣ All members of the foundation have the right to public transportation, this includes; On-Site Taxis and Trams.
§.9.0 ➣ Foundation Personnel may offer free rides at anytime.
§.9.1 ➣ The driver may not drive to any areas that said rider can not access.
§.9.1.1 ➣ Along with this, the rider may not request to enter any zone that the driver can not access.
§.10.0 ➣ When parking their vehicle, drivers must ensure their vehicle isn’t blocking or interfering with any oncoming traffic.
§.11.0 ➣ Drivers must attempt to avoid items or other vehicles blocking traffic.
§.12.0 ➣ Drivers must give others the right of way when needed.
§.12.1 ➣ At a T-Shaped Intersection, the first person to arrive will have right of way, then the second person, etc.
§.13.0 ➣ Members within the foundation are required to close any gates they encounter whilst driving.
§.14.0 ➣ Drivers are prohibited from purposefully ramming into or hitting SCPs or any other members of the foundation.
§.15.0 ➣ The act of Vehicular Arson/Vehicular Manslaughter is prohibited.
§.15.1 ➣ This is exempt if used in self defense.
§.16.0 ➣ The usage of loopholes for this documentation is strictly prohibited, doing so can result in moderate punishments.
