my name is Niklas Scheuer and I am currently a Postdoctoral Researcher (Akademischer Rat) at the Chair of Public Finance of the University Trier.

I obtained my bachelor's degree in management and economics, my master's degree in international economics and public policy as well as my PhD from the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz.  

My research interests are macroeconomics, behavioral economics, distributional analysis, labor economics and macroeconomic theory in general.
