Nikita Zakharov

I am a postdoc at the University of Freiburg, Germany. Previously, I have been a postdoc at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA. I have a doctoral degree in Economics from the University of Freiburg.

My research interests include political economy, comparative politics, applied econometrics, and experimental economics. I focus my empirical research on Russia and post-Soviet states. I have experience in organizing lab and field experiments.
