Volunteering for SK Day 2024.

• The Directed Reading Program at the University of Iowa pairs undergraduate students with graduate student mentors for independent study projects in mathematics. The program aims to engage undergraduates in the broader mathematical community while fostering independent learning and strengthening mathematical communication skills.

• I have mentored an undergraduate student on Numerical Linear Algebra in Spring 2026.

• The Math Graduate Board (MGB) is a graduate student-led organization in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Iowa. It provides a forum for departmental discussion, organizes events, and enriches the academic and social experience of mathematics graduate students.

• I was a Newsletter and T-Shirt officer in 2022, then I was the International Liaison in 2023, and a member of the Travel Committee in 2025.

• The SIAM Student Chapter provides a platform for undergraduate and graduate students interested in applied mathematics and computational sciences by hosting events, talks, and activities designed to foster networking and professional development in the context of industrial and applied mathematics. 

• I served as Vice President in 2023 and as President in 2024 and 2025. I currently serve as Treasurer.

• The University of Iowa Department of Mathematics hosts the annual Sonia Kovalevsky High School Mathematics Day, an outreach event.  designed to encourage high school students, particularly young women,  their parents or guardians, and their teachers to engage with Mathematics.  The one-day program features interactive workshops, talks, mathematical activities, and panels with professionals in math-related careers, providing opportunities for learning, mentoring, and community building.
