Nikita Gaponiuk

I am a Ph.D. graduate in Economics at the University of Luxembourg. I received MS in Economics and Finance from the Higher School of Economics and the University of Luxembourg. I obtained a BA in Economics and BA in Law from the Samara State University of Economics. My work broadly focused on the sustainability of free movement policy within the multinational framework and the importance of trade and migration frictions. 

I am currently working at Forvis Mazars Luxembourg as a Lead AI Engineer - Manager Consultant in a Risk Management Team. I manage development of an IT-product enabling compliance teams in Luxembourg to automate review of their documents versus the corpus of Luxembourgish and EU-level regulations that includes more than 20 regulatory frameworks (e.g., AML, Governance, Risk Management, etc.). I also continue to manage the Valuation business like helping our audit teams to price and counter-value structured derivative products for Banks, Funds and Insurance industries.
