Usually I get ideas for compositions when I'm out hiking or taking a stroll. My process begins with photographic field studies. I synthesize these references into digital collages, using them as blueprints for my final compositions.

Most of my drawings start on my iPad. Going back and forth with colors and textures is an essential part of my drawing practice and I find it the ideal medium to try out new ideas without fear.
