NIK-Elektronika (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the NIK DLMS mobile application (“Application”).

This Privacy Policy explains what information the Application may process, how it is used, and how we protect it.

2. Application Purpose

The Application is designed to:

• connect to compatible metering devices via Bluetooth;

• display meter information and readings;

• authenticate users;

• load company news and service information.

3. Information We Process

Account Information

When you sign in, the Application may process:

• email address or login;

• password;

• account name;

• user role and access permissions.

This information is used only for authentication and access control.

Bluetooth and Device Information

To connect to compatible devices, the Application may process:

• Bluetooth device name;

• Bluetooth MAC address;

• saved device list;

• meter serial number;

• logical device name (LDN);

• invocation counter.

This information is required for device discovery and communication.

Meter Data

The Application may read and locally store:

• energy readings;

• relay state;

• meter clock value;

• update timestamps.

This information is used only to display meter data and generate export reports when requested by the user.

Technical Information

Our servers may process standard technical information such as:

• IP address;

• request date and time;

• network-related technical data.

The Application does not use third-party advertising SDKs.

4. Permissions Used

The Application may request:

• Internet access;

• Bluetooth permissions;

• Nearby devices permissions;

• Location permission required by Android for Bluetooth scanning;

• Network state access.

The Application does not use location data for tracking or navigation.

5. How Information Is Used

We use information to:

• provide Application functionality;

• authenticate users;

• manage access rights;

• connect to metering devices;

• display meter information;

• export reports when requested;

• improve reliability and security.

6. Local Storage

The Application may locally store:

• login/session information;

• saved devices;

• cached meter readings;

• cached news;

• interface preferences.

This data remains on the user’s device unless removed by the user.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data.

Information may be shared only:

• with backend services required for authentication and Application functionality;

• when required by law;

• when the user explicitly shares exported files using Android sharing features.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable security measures to protect data transmitted through the Application.

Data transmitted between the Application and our servers is encrypted using secure network connections.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Application is not intended for children under 16 years of age.

10. Your Rights

Depending on applicable laws, users may request:

• access to personal data;

• correction of inaccurate data;

• deletion of personal data.
