The music creates calming tone by using overtones, soft instruments and long tones along with a lot of rhythms.

Soft instruments in particular the bongos, sitar(hand held instruments), and there voice to praise there god or goddess.

The texture if the music is homophonic because they have one singer with instruments in the back ground to back them up. The mood of kriti music is calming and sothing they use a clear voice to praise the god over and over again. Meter of the music is a very repetitive since they same the same thing over and over again so it doesnt really change. Tempo of kriti is very slow they dont have a very fast fast pace they keep it slow its like meditation music.
